Based on her hiking adventures and hiking books, Sandra first launched this website as a blog in the winter of 2006, and worked with several different content management systems before settling on her current use of Joomla. A social network, YouTube channel and podcast (available on iTunes, keyword: florida hikes) now accentuate the offerings at Florida Hikes! The Florida Hikes site offers two tiers of content: one for the general public, and one for paid subscribers, who receive detailed guidebook-style information once logged in.
